How can we use different structures and modes of writing to reflect and document our experiences in designing and constructing a personalized skateboard?
 

Description
In this interdisciplinary project, students use design thinking and process to make and publicly exhibit personalized skateboards. From community partners CalSkate and ArtDesignXchange and local skating champions, students learn the history and social significance of skating in Portland. Through journals and work logs, students reflect on and document their creative process and learning experience.
